How to Create Automatic Email Marketing Campaigns

Click Activity Series on the left hand tool bar.

Choose Create New or Edit, Start Date or Due Date, then Add or Edit an Activity in this series.

Scheduled For - select Current User to allow the email to come FROM the user who schedules the activity series. Select a specific user if you'd like the email to come FROM the same user no matter who schedules the series. In both cases, any My Record mail merge fields will be completed using the Scheduled For value.

Your series can include Calls, Meetings, Todos AND Send types, all sequenced as an offset from the Start Date or Due Date...

Using Activity Series

Schedule an activity series (found on top toolbar) for the current contact or the current lookup.

Check the Activities tab to confirm the activities were scheduled properly.

All Send type activities will generate a History record when sent.
