SalesNexus FME - E-Mail Forwarding


For FME to work properly, you must setup forwarding for incoming e-mails. With Exchange 2003, this can be accomplished through Windows Active Directory.

1) Right click on the user you wish to have their incoming mail forwarded and select Properties.

2) Click on the Exchange General tab found in the Properties window.

3) Click on Delivery Options… button and you will see the window below:

4) Select Forward to: options and click Modify to enter the designated FME email address you wish to forward to.

5) IMPORTANT! You must check the Deliver messages to both forwarding address and mailbox chechbox. If you do not check this box, you will stop receiving your mail.

For outgoing e-mails, you will need to CC/BCC the designated FME email address when sending emails from Outlook. A rule can be set up in Outlook to automatically CC (but not BCC) every message you send to the FME e-mail address. There is no way to auto-BCC in Outlook without purchasing a third-party plug-in.
